We had a delightful stay at the Victoria Falls Hotel; we were met at the Livingstone airport upon our arrival and picked up two days later to return to the airport right on schedule. The visa information and activity information provided by Island Safaris was accurate and useful. The discounted hotel rate was also quite good. I would strongly recommend Island-Safari.com to others traveling to the area.

Thanks you for your enquiry. We got back yesterday from our trip.
We had a wonderful time.
 
All connections went smoothly (apart from the first one, but that was not the fault of island safari as our plane was 3 ½ hours delayed out of Hong Kong and so we nearly missed our connection to Livingstone.) 
 
Mandy did a great job of booking everything, making suggestions and keeping in touch with us during that hairy first connection. Nigel did a great job of sorting out RLH booking and was very responsive.
 
We also very much enjoyed the Victoria Falls Hotell. My only negative comment would be that it is/was a lot easier to book by internet through Mandy and Nigel than it was to get things organized at the RLH onsite booking desk, which was a bit slow and not very proactive in some areas. 
 
I have friends thinking of travelling to Africa in October so I will recommend Island Safari to them.

Royal Livingstone Hotel very nice but overpriced for food etc. but everybody knows that.
One irritation – the internet access is terrible and expensive
But, we had a wonderful time and would use your services again

The transfers were perfect.
The stay at The Victoria Falls Hotel was fab – I just didn’t get my bag off the BA flight – not your fault!

I can't thank you and all the Island-safari staff enough for the whole experience!  I would love to give you some constructive criticism but it is very hard to think of anything!  The booking process was very efficient, the transfers were quick and informative, and the Victoria Falls Hotel very comfortable.  I may have missed it in your literature but if it not already there it would be nice to include the fact that cash (US dollars) will be needed for any excursions from the hotel.  There is a bank nearby but having the cash in advance would save the trip.  This however, is a very minor point in an otherwise amazing experience.
